Indeed, after a horrendous surgery, I have proved I'm pretty powerless.

About me
If somebody asked me what I wanted most in the world a year ago, it would be to be a normal size. This is about the journey I took to realize my dream.
I don't think I'm without self-discipline, uncontrolled, or lazy. I've been fat since childhood and becoming normal sized has always been the one thing I couldn't do.
I started having other health difficulties--needing an awful machine because of sleep apnea, diabetes, and high blood pressure and I decided to take the leap to do what could be done.
I had the duodenal switch surgery February 2009. Here's my story.
